Description
The 1967 Gold Sovereign NGC MS64 belongs to the first-portrait group of Queen Elizabeth II sovereigns, issued from 1957 to 1968. Mary Gillick’s obverse shows the Queen wearing a laurel wreath, while the reverse carries Benedetto Pistrucci’s 1817 design of St George slaying the dragon. Certified NGC MS64, this British sovereign is struck in 22-carat gold at 916.7 fineness and weighs approximately 7.98 grams.
