The final Royal Tudor Beasts coin

What is the Completer?

The Royal Tudor Beasts series follows the ten heraldic statues on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace. The Completer is the last coin in the series and the only one to show all ten beasts together, set around a Tudor rose.

David Lawrence designed the reverse, as he did for every coin in the series. The obverse carries Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III. The range was released on 10 September 2026 and is dated 2027. The Royal Mint closed the Queen's Beasts series the same way in 2021.

Finish and grade

About the matt finish

A standard proof has mirrored fields and frosted detail. A matt proof has an even satin finish across the whole coin, with no reflections to hide the detail.
