// Transparent pricing

A real price.
A clear explanation.

Follow the market, see the current price of the item, and know where to ask if you want the detail explained. That is the standard we aim for before you buy or sell.

// 01 · Price, explained

A market reference is not a price tag.

We make the live market context, the current price of the item, and the practical next steps clear before you commit.

  1. 01

    Live market context

    The live gold and silver spot prices you see on the website are global live market references. These figures help you follow the market but are not a checkout calculator.

  2. 02

    The current product price

    Prices on all bullion items are live prices meaning they update every minute with the market. Some coins will have a fixed price where a larger part of the premium is linked to the scarcity of the coin. Live spot price, product availability, and demand are all taken into consideration when a product price is set.

  3. 03

    Facts before basket

    The product page should make the item, its specification, availability and price easy to find. If a detail needs confirming, we will say so plainly.

  4. 04

    Tax & shipping

    All our gold coins and bars are investment grade and therefore exempt from VAT. Delivery and collection choices are selected at checkout.

// 02 · Visibility

The important distinction.

Market context, product facts and a route to a real person should work together. One should not stand in for the others.

  • Market reference is visible

    Follow the live market in the header without mistaking it for a final product or valuation quote.

  • The listed price is specific

    A coin, bar or graded item has its own current price, its own specification and its own availability.

  • A person is behind the answer

    Our Baker Street showroom team is available for a direct conversation about an item, a valuation or the practical next step.

For a collection, a valuation or a question about an item, you can speak directly with the team at our Baker Street showroom.

// 04 · Future resale

Buy with the route back in mind.

We buy back all precious metals, whether purchased from Bullion House or elsewhere. We can offer instant cash for your gold or for those serious premium pieces, we offer a consignment service to help maximise your price. All offers are based on live market prices, together with the item's condition and scarcity, ensuring a fair and competitive valuation.

Pricing FAQ

Is the price on screen calculated directly from spot?

Most bullion items are linked directly to the spot price carrying a fixed % or £ premium. Some products carry fixed prices and will not move immediately with the gold price.

Why can a price change?

The live price and availability can change, so product prices may be updated. For an item you are selling, the final buying offer also depends on testing, inspection and condition.

Is VAT included?

VAT treatment depends on the item. Investment gold is VAT exempt. Certain UK legal-tender coins are exempt from Capital Gains Tax, whereas silver and platinum can carry VAT. All prices displayed are the final price of the product.

What is the Buy-Back Commitment?

Bullion House only sells recognised products we would be prepared to buy back later. The route back is clear, but the final offer still depends on live spot, verification, condition, and compliance checks.
