The 1oz Gold Proof The Queen's Beasts Griffin of Edward III NGC PF70 (UCAM) (w/Box & COA) is a 2021 Royal Mint coin struck in 999.9 fine gold. It is the second design in the ten-coin Queen’s Beasts series. The reverse depicts the griffin clutching a shield bearing Windsor Castle, Edward III’s birthplace. Jody Clark designed both the heraldic reverse and the fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Certified NGC PF70 Ultra Cameo, this £100 proof coin comes with its box and certificate of authenticity. The individual issue comprised 450 coins, with a total mintage of 540 including sets.
