The 2022 5oz Silver Proof British Monarchs Henry VII is the inaugural release in The Royal Mint’s British Monarchs Collection. Its reverse remasters the portrait from Henry VII’s ‘Profile Type’ coinage, originally attributed to Alexander of Bruchsal. Henry VII was the first Tudor monarch, reigning from 1485 to 1509. Struck in .999 fine silver, the coin weighs five troy ounces and measures 65mm in diameter. Jody Clark created the modern remastering and the obverse effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The maximum mintage for this £10 silver proof edition was 180 coins.
