Description
The 2026 1oz Platinum Britannia is an official UK legal-tender bullion coin struck by The Royal Mint in one troy ounce of 999.5 fine platinum. Its reverse carries Philip Nathan’s Britannia design, with trident, Union Flag shield and olive branch. The obverse features Martin Jennings’ definitive portrait of King Charles III, facing left and uncrowned. The coin has a face value of £100 and incorporates four security details: a padlock-to-trident latent image, wave-like surface animation, tincture lines on the shield and the micro-text ‘Decus et Tutamen’.
