Description
This 2022 United Kingdom quarter-ounce gold bullion coin features the Lion of England, the opening design in The Tudor Beasts series from The Royal Mint. Struck in 999.9 fine gold, it carries a £25 face value and is offered as an NGC MS70 graded coin.
The reverse presents the crowned Lion of England supporting a shield bearing the combined arms of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour. Its design takes inspiration from the heraldic beasts of Hampton Court Palace, while the obverse carries the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
