The Gold Proof Sovereign The Coronation of HM King Charles III NGC PF70 (UCAM) (w/Box) was issued in 2023 to mark the first coronation of a British monarch in 70 years. Its crowned portrait of Charles III was designed by Martin Jennings, while the reverse carries Benedetto Pistrucci’s St George and the dragon. Certified NGC PF70 Ultra Cameo, this 22-carat gold sovereign weighs 7.98 grams and measures 22.05mm in diameter. The Royal Mint set a presentation mintage of 15,000 for the individual Gold Proof Sovereign. It is supplied with its box.
