Description
This 2024 1oz Gold Britannia is a United Kingdom bullion coin struck by The Royal Mint in 999.9 fine gold. It contains one troy ounce of pure gold, carries a £100 face value, and is produced to bullion quality.
The reverse presents Philip Nathan’s standing Britannia, holding a shield, olive branch and trident to represent protection, peace and Britain’s maritime connection. Martin Jennings’ official portrait of King Charles III appears on the obverse. The design also incorporates visual authentication details, including a trident-to-padlock latent image, animated wave-like surface detail, “DECUS ET TUTAMEN” micro-text and tincture lines within the Union flag shield.
