Description
The 1/10oz Gold Britannia is a British bullion coin issued by The Royal Mint. Its reverse carries Philip Nathan’s 1987 Standing Britannia design, depicting Britannia with a shield, trident and olive branch. Struck in 22-carat gold, the coin contains one-tenth of a troy ounce of fine gold and has a legal-tender face value of £10. The 916.7 fineness reflects the standard used for the Gold Britannia series from its introduction in 1987 until 2012.
