Description
The 1oz Gold Britannia & Liberty NGC MS70 - First Day of Issue is a 2025 UK bullion coin containing one troy ounce of 999.9 fine gold. Its reverse presents Britannia and Liberty with equal prominence, represented by the trident and torch, while the obverse carries Martin Jennings’ official coinage portrait of King Charles III. Certified NGC MS70, this £100 coin is designated First Day of Issue. The reverse was jointly designed by Gordon Summers, Chief Engraver of The Royal Mint, and Joseph Menna, Chief Engraver of the United States Mint—the first collaboration between the two mints’ Chief Engravers on a single coin design.
