Description
This 2021 UK Five-Sovereign gold coin marks the 95th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck in 22-carat gold, it features Benedetto Pistrucci’s St George and the dragon reverse, modified with a crowned ‘95’ privy mark. This was the first Sovereign to use a crown privy mark in this configuration for a 95th birthday. The obverse carries Jody Clark’s fifth definitive portrait of Elizabeth II, while Timothy Noad refined the reverse for this edition. Certified by NGC as MS70, the coin weighs 39.94 grams and measures 36.02mm in diameter.
