How much will you pay for my Gold Kangaroos?
Our offer is based on the live gold price, the size and number of coins, and their condition. Send the details and we will reply with an indicative price, then confirm the final offer once we have inspected the coins.
Is a Gold Nugget the same as a Gold Kangaroo?
They are the same Perth Mint series. Early coins showed famous gold nuggets and later coins show a kangaroo, with the same 24 carat gold content. We buy both.
Which Australian Gold Kangaroo sizes do you buy?
We buy one-ounce, half-ounce, quarter-ounce, tenth-ounce and older twentieth-ounce coins, plus large two-ounce, ten-ounce and one-kilo issues.
Do scratches or handling marks reduce the value?
Light handling marks rarely change a bullion offer much because the fine-gold content is unchanged. Heavy damage can affect the final offer, and we explain any adjustment before you decide.
Can early, proof or graded Kangaroos be worth more?
Yes. Early Nugget issues, scarce years, proof finishes, high grades, boxed coins and large-format coins may carry additional collector value, so we assess those individually.
How and when do I get paid?
Once we have inspected your Gold Kangaroos and you accept the final offer, we arrange payment by cash or bank transfer. For coins sent by post, payment is by bank transfer.
Do I have to accept the offer?
No. The offer is there to help you decide, and there is no obligation to accept it.
Do I need ID to sell?
Yes. We need to verify your identity for every purchase. We will tell you exactly what to bring or send before you visit or post your coins.
Can I sell without visiting London?
Yes. Start with the form and we will agree an insured delivery route with you. We confirm the offer once the coins have been inspected.
