Why now

Unused Gold Jewellery May Be Worth More Than You Think

Gold does not need to be fashionable, complete or recently bought to hold value. The live ranges above show how quickly an unworn collection can add up.

01

The value follows the live market

Our starting point is the current gold price, so you see an up-to-date value rather than an old fixed estimate.

02

Several small items can add up

Rings, chains, charms and odd earrings may look insignificant separately, but their combined gold weight can be meaningful.

03

Damage does not remove the gold

Snapped chains, bent bangles, missing stones and single earrings can still retain precious-metal value.

04

You can check before deciding

A valuation gives you a clear figure. There is no obligation to accept the offer or sell every item.

Why Bullion House

A Clear Jewellery Valuation, Not Just a Scrap Quote

We assess what each piece is made from, explain the gold value and check whether anything deserves more than an ordinary melt-value offer.

01

Tested and weighed properly

We check hallmarks, confirm purity and separate non-gold weight before calculating the offer.

02

Extra value is not ignored

Designer names, antique workmanship, strong designs and significant gemstones are checked individually.

03

Every figure is explained

We show how purity, net weight and the live gold price shaped the amount we can pay.

04

You stay in control

Ask questions, consider the offer and choose which pieces—if any—you want to sell.

How it works

From Enquiry to Payment

We explain how weight, purity, condition and the live market shaped the offer before you decide.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you have

Use the short form to describe the items, any visible hallmarks and their condition. An approximate weight is helpful but not required. Photos help but are optional.

  2. 02

Visit the showroom or post it insured

We reply with an indicative price and the next step: an appointment at Baker Street, or an insured delivery route agreed with you.

  3. 03

Review the offer and arrange payment

We test and weigh the jewellery, check whether any item deserves a specialist valuation, and explain the final offer. There is no obligation to accept.

Questions about selling gold jewellery?

How much will you pay for my gold jewellery?

Our offer starts with the live gold price, the purity and the net gold weight. We also check whether the maker, age, design or gemstones give an item value beyond its gold content.

Do you buy broken jewellery and single earrings?

Yes. Snapped chains, bent or dented pieces, missing stones, single earrings and incomplete sets can still have gold value.

Do you buy white gold and rose gold?

Yes. We buy yellow, white and rose gold. The colour does not determine the purity, so we test each item and check any hallmark before valuing it.

Does my jewellery need a hallmark?

No. A clear hallmark helps us identify the likely purity, but worn, foreign and unmarked jewellery can still be tested and assessed.

What happens to diamonds and other stones?

We separate the gold content from the stone weight. Significant diamonds and coloured gemstones are assessed individually, while small synthetic or decorative stones may not add value.

Can antique or designer jewellery be worth more?

Yes. Maker, age, design, condition and demand can give a finished piece value above its gold content. We check for those features before making the offer.

How and when do I get paid?

Once we have inspected the jewellery and you accept the final offer, we arrange payment by cash or bank transfer. For items sent by post, payment is by bank transfer.

Can I sell without visiting London?

Yes. Start with the form and we will agree an insured delivery route with you. We confirm the final offer once the jewellery has been inspected.

Do I have to accept the offer?

No. We explain the valuation and you decide whether to accept it. There is no obligation to sell.
