How much will you pay for my Gold Eagles?
Our offer is based on the live gold price, the size and number of coins, and their condition. Send the details and we will reply with an indicative price, then confirm the final offer once we have inspected the coins.
Which American Gold Eagle sizes do you buy?
We buy the standard one-ounce, half-ounce, quarter-ounce and tenth-ounce Gold Eagles, as single coins, mixed holdings or complete sets.
Do you buy both Gold Eagle reverse designs?
Yes. We buy the original family-of-eagles reverse used from 1986 into 2021 and the newer close eagle portrait introduced in 2021.
Do scratches or handling marks reduce the value?
Light handling marks rarely change a bullion offer much because the fine-gold content is unchanged. Heavy damage can affect the final offer, and we explain any adjustment before you decide.
Can proof or graded Gold Eagles be worth more?
Yes. High grades, professionally graded coins, proof finishes and complete US Mint sets may carry an additional collector value, so we assess those individually.
How and when do I get paid?
Once we have inspected your Gold Eagles and you accept the final offer, we arrange payment by cash or bank transfer. For coins sent by post, payment is by bank transfer.
Do I have to accept the offer?
No. The offer is there to help you decide, and there is no obligation to accept it.
Do I need ID to sell?
Yes. We need to verify your identity for every purchase. We will tell you exactly what to bring or send before you visit or post your coins.
Can I sell without visiting London?
Yes. Start with the form and we will agree an insured delivery route with you. We confirm the offer once the coins have been inspected.
